Revamp Your Diet with These Delicious Plant-Based Alternatives

Veganuary is starting on January 1st! Who is excited?!?


It is a great time of year to challenge yourself to try out vegan foods for the month of January. Just one month of swapping animal foods for plant-based ones. That is right - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. And in 2024 - it could not be easier! There are so many plant-based alternatives on the market - so why not?


When I went vegan almost eight years ago, I had to figure out how to cook with plant foods, and I will admit it was challenging to figure out how to cook with new ingredients. But then, I found a new passion and love for cooking! And it is why I am focusing on sharing more of what I have learned over the past eight years with all of you! I want you to have a great experience cooking with plant-based alternatives and it includes using tofu, lentils, beans, mushrooms, and so much more!


The plant-based alternatives on the market today are terrific and great to use in a transition period until you can learn how to make seitan steak or tofu chicken. So, to help you out - for the month of January - I will be posting different meals that you would commonly see with animal products but with plant-based ones on my IG page (@seaside.vegan)


But to help you get started today - I created a simple "swap this for that" list of plant-based alternatives. So be on the lookout on my IG page for ways to use these alternatives and enjoy delicious, vegan meals!
